Babies? What?

There has been a lot of things going on about babies these days. Even if you hadn't taken a Chinese class, you would probably know about the baby booms in China. Not to mention the one-child policy rule. Literally, every Chinese (mainlanders) I've met in the US are only-childs. In a century or so, maybe the term 兄弟姐妹 won't even exist in the vocabulary. (As a side-not, there is also a uneven population of male to female ratio in China as baby boys are better than baby girls).
Speaking of which, there are nine different ways to say baby - and I haven't even learned it all. 婴儿, 宝贝, 孩子, 娃娃,孩儿, are just some of them. Well so much terminology is also too much babies right? In English, babies are just babies. Can you think of another way to say baby?
Like usual, as I was surfing on the web for chinese stuff. Guess what happens:

Chinese people eating babies

Yeah! You know Asians eat weird stuff but seriously? Now what the heck is this. Obviously someone's trollin the search bar right? Well maybe not so. Apparently one guy decided to follow up on Jonathan Swift's "Modest Proposal" and escape his hunger problem with a baby a-la-carte. Yum. Much better than KFC.

Well if you are disgusted you should be...not. This isn't real. Chinese people aren't cannibals - trust me. This is an art piece. The person above is Zhu Yu. He is a controversial artist, well known for his called "Eating People." While he might claim that he took an aborted baby, you can clearly tell that its a fake doll. How? If you look at the lips, you can easily tell that its pretty well drawn. Not to mention no chubby cheeks. Sorry you cannibal fans - this one's a fake. You can get more info about this at Urban Legends

Now that you have been ingrained with some nutty info. I am going to relieve your worries with lots of pictures of babies.

Just Kidding geez. And no, I am not what you are thinking.
